Hands care with the help of plants

     Hands, on various occasions, are looked upon as the expressivity of the concern for self-care and beauty. Hand-care concern exists since forever. For their maintenance it is required to turn to plants for a natural remedy.

The recipe for hand-care

     Natural treatment with POTATO:
     The paste obtained through the boiling of potatoes. Apply on hands in the case of easy bruising.

     Natural treatment with BLACK GOOSEBERRY:
     Macerate in warm water for 24 hours, equal parts of black gooseberry leaves, laurel leaves, garden sage, rosemary; percolate; keep in dark colored bottles; apply many compresses on the affected spot, after it has been washed with the same substance.

     Natural treatment with MILFOIL:
     Fresh juice obtained through pounding and squeezing of the leaves. Apply on the affected spot.

     Natural treatment with CHANTERELLE:
     Infusion from two spoons of dried and minced flowers for a cup (250 ml) of boiling water; leave covered 20-30 minutes; percolate; wash the area with the obtained solution and then apply compresses.

     Natural treatment with SNOW DROP:
     Obtained from bulbs and leaves; apply on hands where there are aging spots; it diminishes their intensity or it removes them.

     Natural treatment with WHEAT:
     Paste from 50 grams sieved grain, 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 egg yolk and a little oil; knead until it is homogenized; to avoid alteration add some drops of benzoate and mix well; keep in a tightly closed jar; in the evenings, before bed, wash hands and apply prepared paste; hand skin will remain velvety.

     Natural treatment with LEMONS:
     Rub hand with lemon slices; encourages the healing of cracks and fortifies the nails.

     Natural treatment with ALMOND:
  • prepared almond "milk" from 100 g of almond seeds; leave in hot water 3-4 hours; remove the peel; mash with little water in a bowl, then mix with syrup prepared from 100 g sugar in 2 liters of water; use as ointment on hand cracks;
  • almond paste from 50 grams of almond let to soften in hot water; remove the shell; pound well, then mix with 30 grams of common iris and 30 g of starch; add 4 egg yolks, 200 g of brandy or 100 g of 90o alcohol mixed with water and 20 drops of rose essence; keep the mix on a moderate fire and mix permanently until you get a paste; let it cool; pour it in a jar and leave it uncovered in a dry place; through evaporation a fine powder is obtained which you rub the hands in the mornings and evenings; the skin becomes smooth and velvety.
     Natural treatment with WOLF'S CLAW:
     Infusion from a spoon of minced plant and a cup (200 ml) of boiling water; leave covered for 20-30 minutes; percolate; wash hands well in a water recipient for diminution of perspiration.

     Natural treatment with CELANDINE:
     Juice obtained by breaking the plant; tampon well the hand warts several times a day, until they unloose and fall.

     Natural treatment with TOMATO:
     Tomato juice keeps hands velvety, cures rashes resulted from detergents and other substances; a sliced tomato can be passed on hands or the obtained juice from squeezed tomatoes.
