Gesta, the Weekend Diet The Gesta Diet was created by dietician Madeleine Gesta initially for the stars that needed to change their body weight in a very short period of time.

The diet is both a weight loss diet and a method of general regeneration. It is very important to note that this diet lasts for 2 days and is based on foods rich in proteins, calcium and vitamins in order to energies the organism.

The principles of the diet:

The diet is characterized by balance, relaxation and a lot of rest,
The diet has 2 phases: the detox treatment and the stabilizing period.

It is made of:
- 3 meals a day
- at each meal the 4-2-1 ratio is respected (4 parts carbs, 2 parts proteins and one part lipids)
- a maximum of 500 g of food for one meal
- 1,5 l water a day, but drink before lunch (in the morning water flows better in the organism) and never during meals
- Choose foods that are not industrially processed

Saturday

In the morning
When you wake up, drink half a liter of water in small sips, to eliminate toxins. After 30 minutes, drink a glass of grapefruit juice (very rich in vitamin C and potassium) and after another 15 minutes drink 250 ml of skimmed milk mixed with a teaspoon of cocoa and a teaspoon of honey.

Lunch:
200 g lean fish, steamed or cooked in an oven. Season with lemon zest and olive oil.
After 2 hours eat an yoghurt with a teaspoon of honey (stimulates the intestinal transit).

In the afternoon:
A lemon squeezed in 250 ml water, in which you add a teaspoon of honey.

Dinner:
Boil for 20 minutes, in 1.5 liters water 1 kg leek (diuretic), 500 g carrots (contain vitamin A), 500 g tomatoes (rich in potassium and minerals), 2 celery stalks and a dash of time (detox properties). Drink 3 bowls of broth, every 10 minutes, and then eat 3 bowls of the boiled vegetables, seasoned with vinaigrette every 20 minutes.

Before going to bed:
A yoghurt with a teaspoon of honey.

On Sunday

This is a dieting day, in the first 5 ores you have to favor the absorption of liquid foods, the body is very stressed, so you must rest as much as possible. In the morning and for lunch respect the menu from the first day.

Dinner:
200 g boiled fish and a bowl of vegetables.

Before going to bed:
A yoghurt with a teaspoon of honey.

Monday, calcifying day:

In the morning:
Drink water, the grapefruit juice and a cup of cocoa milk.

Lunch:
250 g cow cheese mixed with an yoghurt and 2 teaspoons of honey.

In the afternoon:
2 apples from a compote or a dry fruit every 2 hours.

Dinner:
200 g white meat and 300 g steamed vegetables, seasoned with olive oil.
If you follow this diet religiously, you can lose up to 2-3 kg a week.
