How do We Get Rid of Bad Breath?
The unpleasant breath of the mouth is indeed, a great disadvantage, not only for teenagers but for every person, especially if the affected persons cannot become aware of it. Fortunately, the researchers solved this problem starting from the important observation that in only 5% of the cases the bad breath is provoked by stomach's illnesses and in 95% by the oral cavity, an area which can be treated much easier.
An interesting detail would be that between lips and gum appear around 100 milliards bacteria everyday and they feel there as if they were in wonderland. They settle down on the tongue, the mouth's mucous membrane and on teeth where they find plenty of food. But not all the oral cavity’'s lodgers cause smell.
Guilty for this smell are some bacteria which have a great weakness for the aliments which contain albumin. If they encounter, for instance, fish or cheese scraps, a veritable smell cocktail is produced which reminds of the spoiled eggs. Their antidote is saliva. When saliva is normally produced, it washes the damaging bacteria but when the salivary glands don't work properly, the mouth remains dry, the food particles cannot be removed and they begin to rust out. The mouth becomes dry also because of the medication, during the fast or during some alimentary diets.
The stress and the emotive strain dry the mouth as well. The albinos eating bacteria settle with great pleasure on the back of the tongue. It is not a leveled place, has ups and downs, it is humid all the time, full of food particles - a luxurious space for our invisible enemies, this if they are not systematically removed as do the ones who wash their teeth regularly.
In the end, not only the alimentary scraps maintain the bacteria in the mouth but also the mouth's dead cells. As for the bad breath, it can be also provoked by the old sinusitis, nasal infections such as: chronic tonsil and polyps' bronchitis. The ill organs can also provoke the bad breath: lungs, stomach, kidneys (emanate urine and fish smell). The acetone smell indicates advanced diabetes and the liver smell - cirrhosis. To conclude, the mouth's bad breath is not just a beauty problem (erotic intimacy) but also a warning. It announces the presence of chronic diseases or a bad oral hygiene which forgets food particles between teeth- good reasons to straighten the situation.
Bad Breath Remedy
- A remedy can be the toothbrush, but is not by itself a sufficient hygiene method. After using the toothbrush, clean the dental spaces with a dental floss.
- In the morning and in the evening, don't brush only your teeth but also the tongue, on both sides. Use a toothbrush soaked in water or a wooden spoon-tail.
- Coffee in big quantities can reduce the flow of saliva and the mouth gets dry, risking to get the bad breath.
- Wash regularly your teeth: every single time you eat meat, fish and dairies. Their scraps produce bad breath.
- Is your mouth dry? The chewing gum re-establishes the flow of saliva.
- Gargle everyday with salvia or bedstraw tea (alternatively). You should get used to chew a piece of cinnamon, aromatic clove, a parsley leaf, a coffee bean or caraway seeds, mingled with mustard seeds.
