Figwort health benefits (Scrophularia nodosa - Fam Scrophularia)

Popular names: figwort, woodland figwort, and common figwort.

Preparation:

- Decoct from the ground root or leaves, used externally, from 2 tablespoons of ground plant in 500 ml boiling water. Cover for 15 minutes, then filter. It is used externally for compresses or cataplasms that are changed according to tolerance every 12-24 hours.
- place 2 teaspoons of ground plant in 250 ml water and prepare a harder polenta with corn flour. Place it as warm as possible (avoid burns) on the abscesses or adenomas on various areas or on various tumors. It is also effective for easing the rheumatic pain and that of any other nature.

You can do it up to 2 times a day.

Tincture: mix one part ground root or plant and 5 parts alimentary alcohol 70C. Keep for 15 days then filter. Take 5-10 drops 2-3 times a day. Externally, gargle with the diluted tincture or place it on wounds in various dilutions.
