Preparation

Because we are only mentioning the seeds sold in pharmacies, we will only mention their preparation techniques.

Place o teaspoon of freshly ground seeds in 250 ml boiling water. It is very important to ground the seeds only before preparation in order for them not to oxidize. Cover for 10 minutes, then filter. You can consume up to 2 cups a day. It is recommended that you drink the first cup in the morning, upon waking up, and then lie on your right side for 30 minutes and then you can continue your daily activities. Drink the other cup in 2 rounds, 15 minutes before meals. The treatment with this tea lasts for 15-20 days, then pause for 15 days and you can follow it again.

The leaves can be consumed raw in salads being very useful in digestive or internal conditions.

Tincture - grind the seeds (50 g) and place in an air-tight recipient, together with 250 ml alimentary alcohol 70C. Keep at room temperature, shaking it often. Filter and then place in smaller bottles at low temperatures, where it can be kept for at least 2 years.

Administration: you can consume it alone or combined with other tinctures according to the conditions you are suffering from. You can consume between 10 drops and a teaspoon 15 minutes before your main meal. It is very recommended that, after consuming it, you should lie down on your right side, especially if it is taken as a treatment for the liver. After 20 days of treatment, pause for 15 days and then start again.

Powder - finely ground the seeds and place a small amount under your tongue. Keep for 10 minutes then swallow with some water. Take it 3 times a day. After 20 days of treatment, you must again pause for 15 days and then you can start again.

It is useful for the following medical conditions: spleen conditions, various liver conditions, conditions of the bladder, cancer (it diminishes the side effects of chemotherapy), cirrhosis, constipation, difficult digestion, dyspepsia, chronic hepatitis, hemorrhoids, high blood pressure, icterus, liver infections, liver failure, hypochondria, gallstones, menorrhagia, varicose, throwing-up.

It is recommended not to overdose and to pause after 2- days of treatment. If the tincture can be recommended (due to the alcohol), use the powder of these seeds.
