Small daisies health benefits (Bellis perennis Fam. Compositae)

Traditionally: it was used as a cure for bronchitis. The plant was washed, mashed and pressed and the obtained juice was mixed with sugar, then consumed several times a day. Some boiled it covered, mix the decoct with honey and prepare a syrup that was consumed in amounts of 1-2 tablespoons a day against chronic bronchitis.

Pharmaceutical actionIt leads to the lubrication of the mouth, the ease in breathing and it is recommended especially for respiratory conditions. It is also diuretic, and it helps rebuild cells in certain medical conditions.
Preparation: they can be consumed fresh in salads, finely chopped. The fresh or dried plants can also be finely chopped and mixed with honey. Consume a teaspoons several times a day.
Tea: place 1 teaspoon of chopped flowers in 100 ml boiling water. Cover for 10 minutes, then filter. You can consume up to 3 cups a day. If used externally, double the amount of plant.
It is recommended to pause for 15 days after 15 days of treatment.
Ointments: place 50 g finely ground plant in 100 g fat (pork lard, pre-boiled butter to remove impurities).
Boil for 3 hours on a water bath. Filter while still warm, then place in a cold place in small boxes. If you want more consistency, you can add some beeswax, warming it again on the water bath to melt the wax. Upon cooling, mix well, because it has the tendency to stratify.
You can place some raw propolis (10-20 g) in this cream, then melt again, mixing until it is completely chilled. Place in a cold environment in small boxes.
Powder: powder the plant using the coffee grinder. Take a small amount 3 times a day. Keep it under your tongue for 10 minutes, then swallow with some water.
Tincture: place one part ground plant in an air-tight container. Add 250 ml alimentary alcohol 70C. Keep at room temperature for 15 days shaking it daily several times. Filter and then place in small air-tight recipients. It can be used for as much as 2 years, if it has been kept in a cold environment, in air-tight recipients.
It can be used for the following medical conditions: abscesses, ascites, asthma, bloating, chronic and acute bronchitis, lip diseases, lung or breast cancer, cirrhosis, cerebrovascular attacks, constipation, headaches, swollen edema, slow digestion, furuncles, intestinal gas, hepatitis, kidney failure, intoxication, irritations of the skin, gravel, mycosis, migraines, swollen eyes, pemphigus, spots, red eyelids, porphyries, wounds, rheumatics, tumors, cough.
