Natural treatments to fight corns

We can find them at the curvature of joints, on toes, on the soles of our feet and other parts of our body. Yes, we would love to get rid of the pesky corns that trouble us. Uncomfortable shoes, standing for a longer period of time, irritations, mechanic traumas, all these lead to corns. But what are they really? Corns are painful growths that refer to the thickening of the corneous layer of the skin. Here are some natural ways of treating them:

- Apply freshly picked or boiled wormwood leaves or wormwood powder mixed with lemon oil.
- Leave the yarrow in boiling water for a couple of water. After cooling, wrap the plant in gauze and apply over the corns.
- Just immerse the corn in hot water and then apply a piece of propolis over it. Let it to act there for 3 days.
- An efficient way of treating corns and cracked heels is: grate spring onion leaves and let the obtained mixture to act overnight on the corns.
- Leave the onion peel to macerate in vinegar for 2 weeks. After that, apply a peel layer over the corn, with a thickness of 2 mm, bandaging it overnight. Repeat the procedure several times.
- It has been proven that the resin of coniferous trees is extremely effective in removing corns. After previously soaked in hot water, apply resin on the affected area for 3 consecutive days, setting it in place with a patch or band-aid that should be replaced at least every 12 hours.
- Mix the paste obtained from crushing garlic cloves with lemon zest and apply on the corns for one week.
- Cataplasms with an infusion of black ivy also have a positive effect on corns, but their effect will be noticed only 3 days after starting the procedure.
