Use the lotion right from the refrigerator before going to bed. Apply it with a cotton disk on your skin and rub it in until there are no impurities left on.

Another skin mask is the one obtained from five slices of cucumber, a tablespoon of olive oil, a tablespoon of argyle powder and three tablespoons of face cream. Mix all these ingredients in a bowl and let the composition rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. When the time is up, apply this paste on your face and leave it on for 20 minutes. Remember to wash it off with lukewarm water and repeat this procedure at least twice a week.

Face mask with Olive Oil and Cucumbers:

If your skin is dried, cucumbers are a very efficient method through which you can moisturize your skin, so prepare a tonic lotion using 2 or 3 cucumbers. Chop them, add boiling water and a cup of olive oil. When the composition reaches the room’s temperature, strain and pour it in a glass bottle. Soak a cotton disk in this solution and tampon your face with it every night before going to bed.

Here’s what you need: a cucumber, a tablespoon of powdered milk, two tablespoons of plain yogurt and an egg white. Wash and peel the cucumber and then smash it using a blender. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir until you obtain a creamy paste. Apply the resulting composition on your face and leave it on for 20 minutes. You can wash it off with cold water or remove it with a hot towel.

To prepare this mask, you need a cucumber, an egg white, a tablespoon of lemon juice and a drop of jojoba oil. Put all these ingredients in a blender and, when the mixture turns into a foamy cream, place it in the refrigerator. After half an hour, apply it on your face and let it work for about 20 minutes.

At the end of this process, wash the mask off with lukewarm water and use a good moisturizer if you have dry skin. If there’s any paste left, you can keep it in the refrigerator, but make sure you prepare a new one every two or three days.

  • 1 Can of Corn Beans

  • Juice of one Lemon

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

  • Salt and Pepper


  • Wash all vegetables and herbs.

  • The cucumber is peeled and cut lengthwise, then into small pieces.

  • Remove seeds from peppers and cut lengthwise.

  • Wash the corn beans and cut them as small as you can.

  • Mix in a salad bowl and add the lemon juice, oil, salt, and pepper.

  • Sprinkle chopped coriander.

Oven Cucumber:


  • Preparation time: 20 minutes (for 4 people)

  • Cooling time: 10 minutes


  • 2 Firm Cucumbers
  • 2 Eggs
  • One Slice of fresh Goat Cheese

  • 2 Tablespoons of Chopped Basil

  • 1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil

  • Salt and Pepper


  • Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.

  • Wash cucumbers and cut them lengthwise and remove seeds with a spoon.

  • Crush the cheese in a bowl and mix with eggs.

  • Add Basil and Olive Oil.

  • Add salt and pepper on the cucumbers, then add the goat cheese mixture.

  • Keep it in the oven for 10 minutes. Serve as an aperitif.
